About Us
The Brickmakers, Swanmore is owned and run by Koren and Gareth Blake, who took over in April 2011. Having worked in catering and hospitality management for the past 20 years they decided to take the leap and branch out on their own, saw the pub and loved it instantly.
Once moved in they embarked on making the pub their own and to make it a warm home from home environment that would draw people back, time and again.
Koren and Gareths' vision was to keep the pub a good drinking pub, with an excellent restaurant - serving top quality, free-range food, locally produced when possible. To offer top notch service with attention to detail, waitress service where nothing is too much trouble. Being a country pub it is unique as we open for food all day and do not close between 3 and 6. With Gareth being the head chef and Koren running front of house we feel we are achieving what we set out to do. Our staff are friendly and helpful, as customer service is of the utmost importance to us.
